Last month I bought a new Compaq 510 notebook for my self . So just wanted to share my experience with you people. First have a look at the specs. It is not so highly configured but still its a decent choice if you are planning to use it for office work.

And the best part is its price. I got it for only 25000/-  INR . That is just around 550 USD.
It comes with a FreeDOS installed in it. You can install the OS of your choice later on.I have made it dual boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10.  Both are running perfectly. The performance is up to the mark. Did not have to install any additional drivers. Everything was running fine inWindows 7 and Ubuntu. The looks are pretty simple and that is how I like it.
